Q2 2024 Performance of Top iOS Personal Finance Apps in the US

In the second quarter of 2024, the personal finance budgeting and planning apps on iOS have shown varied trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. Sensor Tower provides detailed insights into the performance of these applications.

Splitwise saw a significant peak in revenue in late May, reaching $92K, with a subsequent rise to $113K in early June before dropping to $21K by the end of the month. Downloads remained fairly consistent, averaging around 40K per week, while weekly active users saw a slight decline from 212K to 173K over the quarter.

Money Manager Expense & Budget did not generate revenue this quarter; however, it maintained a steady level of downloads, peaking at 42K in mid-April and ending with 39K in late June. The app's weekly active users fluctuated slightly but remained just under 200K for most of the quarter.

Money manager, expense tracker also recorded no revenue, but downloads varied, with a high of 40K in late April and a low of 6K in mid-April. Weekly active users showed growth, starting at 191K and reaching 217K by the end of June.

Monefy: Money Tracker experienced fluctuating revenue, with a high of $60K in late April and a low of $4K in late June. Downloads saw a decline, starting at 25K and dropping to 7K, while weekly active users decreased from 215K to 159K over the quarter.

Finally, Tricount - Split group bills had no recorded revenue, and downloads were minimal, with the app not seeing any downloads for several weeks of the quarter. Weekly active users were very low, with a peak of only 21K at the beginning of April and dropping to 13K in early June.
